GOOD NEWS ROCKET with the pace while widest up the backstretch, put a head in front while four wide far turn, shook clear into the lane, increased advantage through upper stretch to hold a sizable advantage with a furlong to run, clearly best. AMENTUM lacked early foot while racing off the inside, angled out to be five wide turning for home, finished willingly to be in time for the place, no threat to the winner. LOWER BROADWAY vied up front in the three path, fell back off the winner turning for home, chased that one home through the stretch, caught late for the runner up spot. CONVOLUTION back off the pace early while in the two path, moved a bit closer while steered out to be four wide and inside the runner up entering the stretch, improved position with some mild late interest, not enough for the second spot. DOYOUHEARME off slowly, continued to lag well back, came three wide for the drive, picked off a couple of tiring rivals while also showing some modest late energy. RIPPLE'S ROCKET lacked early foot, improved position in the two path turning for home, failed to sustain that advance in the run to the wire.
