DALE raced in the five path around the first turn, chased the leader up the backstretch, saved ground around the second bend, switched to the outside to challenge in upper stretch and dueled to the finish to get up for the win late. AZAMI fanned out to the four path racing around the first bend, led the way up the backstretch, navigated the far turn from the two path, drifted out in upper stretch and dug in to the wire but was caught late.
