ASK ARTHUR settled in range in early stages, advanced to challenge TOMS PROSPECTOR for the lead mid-way around the far turn, dueled outside of rival down the lane and edged by approaching the wire. TOMS PROSPECTOR vied for the lead around the first turn and into the backstretch, shook free near the half mile marker then quickly took on the challenge from ASK ARTHUR, dueled inside of rival into the lane, fought gamely and got denied late. ORPHAN SANDY vied for the lead around the first turn and into the backstretch, could not match strides approaching the half mile marker, hustled along two wide into upper stretch, angled to the inside, weakened off the top pair but remained clear for show. GIMME A CHANCE raced off the pace, came under a ride around the far turn and failed to move on. STUMPY'S LOVE SONG raced off the pace, saved ground around the far turn and never threatened. SOLINGO tracked the early pace, came up empty around the far turn, eased up in the lane, jogged across the wire and walked off after the race.

MIRACLE BALL broke sharp and took over the lead, quickly cleared on top and angled to the inside, remained clear still unleashed around the turn, saved ground turning for home, remained in hand, drew off and wrapped up late. MY MAYBELENNE hustled along in steady pursuit, saved ground around the turn, angled two wide entering the head of the lane, sustained a steady bid and cleared second best. SHAKE TIL DAWN dueled inside of ASTRO NIVE in early stages, continued to battle gamely along the rail into the lane and got denied in final strides. JOMIST raced off the early pace, hustled along three wide into the lane and finished well clear over the rest. CHASIN KOBE'S ODDS saved ground around the turn and never threatened. SELWYN chased the top pair in early stages, sustained a two wide for the clear duo around the turn then tired in the drive. SOUND OF LUTE was off slow at the start and trailed throughout.

MAXIMUM TO EXCEL raced between foes in the second flight, continued patiently handled two wide around the turn, took the inside position in upper stretch, advanced along the rail, took over the lead from I WAS AN OUT and edged away. I WAS AN OUT tracked the top pair up the backstretch, made a move three wide near the quarter pole, came four paths wide into the lead of the lane, shifted in two wide, held a slim lead, got collared by rail running winner and just lasted for place. R N B BABY was off slow at the start and lacked early speed, swung six paths wide into the head of the lane, kicked in gamely, finished strongly and just missed place. KANSAS SMOKE raced in range along the rail, got in tight and checked sharply entering the turn, dropped back, launched a three to four wide rebid in the stretch and improved position without threatening the top trio. LADY CAPTAIN ranged up four wide into contention at the quarter pole, sustained bid to the furlong marker then gave way. PLATINUM SUNRISE vied for the early lead, held a slim lead late on the turn, got collared at the head of the lane and faded. PICKMEUPATMIDNIGHT vied inside up the backstretch and around the turn then retreated in the lane.

DIAL IT DOWN tracked the leader in opening stages, crept close at the quarter pole, given cue two wide at the head of the lane, seized command and steadily widened advantage. RHYME AWAY sprinted to the lead at the start, led the way along the rail into the turn, took on the challenge from DIAL IT DOWN near the quarter pole, held a slight advantage entering the head of the lane then got collared for the lead and settled for second best. A V FROM THE LOGO raced off the top pair into the turn, saved ground along the rail and ran along for show.
