CHINESEIAM saved ground throughout, bid on the turn, loomed a threat but could not get by the winner. TWENTYEIGHTTOTHREE outrun early, angled out in the stretch then made a gradual gain. MY KID SYD eased back early, advanced inside and passed tiring rivals. TOJO'S MOJO prompted the pace three wide then proved empty in the stretch. COBBLE ROAD dropped back early, raced very wide and was no factor. INMORTAL J lagged far behind throughout. BIAGIO prompted the pace outside for half mile and gave way.

YOUBETTERBEJOKING led under pressure to the final yards, repelled challengers and edged clear driving. GET LIKE MIKE trailed early, moved wide into the stretch, reached even terms but was out-finished. HERMOSO HOMBRE prompted the winner outside to the final furlong and weakened. BOB JOHN RAY settled off the leaders, faded on the final turn and was no threat. CONCEALED CARRY saved ground behind the pacesetters and gave way in the stretch. SPEEDY HANS prompted the pace for half mile and stopped abruptly.

THE BEACH GOES ON stalked the pace outside, led at the quarter pole then edged off in the final eighth. TRUTHORCONSEQUENCE hustled to clear lead for half mile, was collared and battled gamely to the late stages. BANG BANG FURY made a menacing three wide rally into the stretch then faltered. DADOO dropped back after the start, then caught fading rival. SPOONBILL flashed speed outside initial quarter mile and stopped.
