FATHER TED chased from inside then altered out to apply pressure to the leader between rivals, dueled around the turn and took over at the quarter pole, put AGIDES away turning for home, opened up into the final furlong, then continued to widen under a few taps of right handed urging and hand urging in the last sixteenth. SIR DAVIS moved just before the gate opened and came away slow, chased outside a rival at the back of the field, gained through the turn, finished willingly down the lane and outkicked MOON for second. MOON broke a step slow, trailed inside SIR DAVIS early, saved ground through the turn, hugged the rail to the stretch, fought with SIR DAVIS for the place honors but came up just short. PECOS RIVER raced up close outside the top pair, lost ground chasing three to four wide on the turn and faded down the lane. AGIDES cleared from outside and crossed over then took pressure from FATHER TED, dueled with that rival on the turn, lost command with a quarter mile remaining and folded in the stretch.

ENTERDADRAGON chased the top pair up the backstretch, came under a ride along the rail on the turn, moved off the fence in the lane and finished willingly to gain second and whittle the gap late. WIZARD OF WESTWOOD stalked the dueling leaders outside ENTERDADRAGON, roused in the two path on the turn, came out and bumped CARIBBEAN KING turning for home, drifted out and bumped that rival again midstretch and kept trying down the lane and earned third. CARIBBEAN KING got crowded between rivals early, trailed on the inside into the turn, tipped three wide around the bend, bumped with WIZARD OF WESTWOOD and got carried out into the stretch, took some more contact from that rival midstretch and failed to rally.
