CENTRAL DISPATCH showed the way up the backstretch, led in the two path through the turn, remained unchallenged into deep stretch under hand urging and stayed clear to the wire. SPECIAL CLUB dropped back early, leapt back onto the turn but was not cost any momentum, traveled along the rail then eased over to the two path late on the turn, swung widest at the top of the lane, rallied from outside and got up for second. COMMANDER (FR) settled out of range and moved inside, saved ground through the turn, moved off the fence in the lane, rallied between rivals late and got edged for the place. NAFTIS showed early foot and raced up close on the inside, chased inside a pair of rivals on the the turn, stayed within striking distance into the last sixteenth but finished evenly. TIGERHON (FR) tracked outside a rival then three deep into the turn, continued three wide to the stretch and never responded to urging. REXFORD followed in range up the backstretch, chased two wide between foes around the bend and weakened.

COURTSIDE ACTION hustled to the front showing the way under pressure from outer rivals, edged clear early on the turn, ridden along around the bend, asked for more two wide into the stretch, drew off under a few taps of right handed urging and remained well clear for the score. FUMANO'S MAGIC pressed the leader from outside early, chased two wide around the bend, three wide into the lane, could not make any headway on the winner down the lane and kept on to secure second. ROMANTIC RIDE raced up close three deep between runners, got shuffled back a bit at the seven-sixteenths marker, angled five wide for the stretch and was along for the show. TAMARANDO BEACH stalked the speed from inside, hugged the rail to the stretch, weakened in the drive and lost third. SOUTHERN MELODEE raced up close four deep early, chased three then four wide into the lane and faded. TOMMY NORRIS threw his head and jumped up leaving the gate, angled out trailing the field early, traveled four then five wide around the bend and came up empty. THERE WAS A STEWARDS' INQUIRY CONCERNING THE START OF TOMMY NORRIS. AFTER A REVIEW, THE STEWARDS RULED THAT TOMMY NORRIS CAUSED HIS OWN PROBLEMS AT THE START AND IS CONSIDERED A STARTER.

PERFECT LIFE broke well then dropped back to give chase, ridden along the rail through the turn, closed in on ALOHA DREAMIN into deep stretch and drove past late. ALOHA DREAMIN fought inside TOULOUSE DETRAC for command up the backstretch, put a head in front on the turn, put that rival away with a furlong remaining, came under threat from PERFECT LIFE at the sixteenth pole and could not fend off the winner. DONTTELLOURWIVES settled well off the rail in the early going, was on the move in the four path on the turn, loomed three wide turning for home, finished willingly through the lane but could not summon the needed final kick. TOULOUSE DETRAC held a short advantage over ALOHA DREAMIN up the backstretch, lost command battling around the bend, fought to the eighth pole and weakened. TOM'S STAR brushed leaving the gate, trailed under urging, went two wide into the turn, found the rail at the quarter pole, moved back out a bit approaching the stretch, steered out in the lane and failed to menace. MOONLIT COURAGE brushed with TOM'S STAR in the beginning, raced close up to the outside of the dueling leaders, dropped back in the three path on the turn and tired in the lane.

GAZON (GB) brushed with TRAVELIN' SHOW at the start, dueled inside that rival up the backstretch and around the turn, came off the rail at the top of the lane, drifted in and scraped the rail at the eighth pole, carried a short lead into deep stretch but could not hold off the GREGORY'S PRIDE late. TRAVELIN' SHOW brushed GAZON (GB) in the beginning, fought head to head for the lead outside that rival holding a slight advantage, lost command battling through the turn, dug in to midstretch but flattened in the final fifty yards. RHYTHEM ON STAGE trailed the field in the early going, gained two then three wide around the turn, chased within range down the stretch but finished evenly. SARK stalked the leaders from inside, roused on the turn, tipped off the fence at the top of the lane and weakened. EL BROMISTA followed in range from off the rail, came under ride in the two path on the turn, fell back to last and weakened in the stretch.

DOTTIE HINSON settled off the pace and moved inside, hugged the rail to the stretch, moved into range, rallied between rivals in deep stretch and got up for second. CHRISTA MCAULIFFE showed early speed inside then chased after A GREAT SHAKING leaving the backstretch, traveled along the rail then moved to the two path, confronted A GREAT SHAKING turning for home, cleared that rival with a furlong remaining, led into the final sixteenth but yielded to the top pair late. MEMETIC trailed the field from inside, angled out at the top of the lane and passed tired rivals. A GREAT SHAKING bucked at the start to come away last then lost his path when WHOPPER FACTOR got forced out, rushed up from outside and cleared leaving the backstretch, crossed over to the inside, challenged by CHRISTA MCAULIFFE exiting the turn, yielded to that rival outside the eighth pole and weakened. WHOPPER FACTOR got forced out leaving the gate, followed in range then dropped back nearing the turn, went tow wide around the bend and flattened out in the final furlong.

ALLEQUIN SUMMER was closest in pursuit from the two path through both turns, challenged from outside at the top of the lane, put a head in front at the eighth pole, drew clear from KNOWHERE at the sixteenth pole and edged away late. KNOWHERE took control early and set the pace on the inside, showed the way up the backstretch and far turn, confronted by ALLEQUIN SUMMER at the top of the lane, relinquished the lead at the eighth pole, could not keep up with the winner into the final furlong but was clearly second best. DREAMRIDER traveled at the back two then three wide on the clubhouse turn, followed those same paths on the far turn, angled out into the lane and produced a mild rally to get by PRIME ARTIST (FR) for third. PRIME ARTIST (FR) laid off the pace and steered to the inside, traveled in mid-pack up the backstretch, chased between runners at the quarter pole, could not summon the needed response in the lane and lost third. STERLING SEA reserved next to the fence in the opening stages, trailed into the far turn, had one beat turning for home and passed tired rivals in the lane. STAY FOR THE BOOM stalked the top pair from inside, hugged the rail around the far turn, asked right handed in the drive but weakened. MADDIE TEE tracked in the two path in the early going, came under a ride and moved into the three path on the far turn but weakened down the lane. DAY MAN reserved in the early going in the two path, went three wide into the far turn, moved in a path then traveled three wide into the lane and had little left for the drive. FORZA AZZURRI went three deep at the tail end into the first turn, moved out four deep around the bend, dropped back to last while widest on the second bend, moved down to the two path trailing into the lane and was never a factor.

NEWTON climbed a bit early then angled down to the inside, crept closer into the turn, moved off the rail to the two path around the bend, churned on through the lane and outdueled MOON for the show honors. MOON chased out of range well off the rail, rounded the bend five then four wide, kept on down the lane but could not get by NEWTON for third. ROAST vied for the lead inside a pair of rivals, yielded past the three-eighths pole and tired in the lane. YAUTOWN took a stutter step and bumped with inner rival leaving the gate, chased from off the pace staying away from the rail, rounded the bend two then three wide, angled out at the three-sixteenths pole and failed to menace. PEACE ON EARTH broke inward, lagged behind early also staying off the rail, angled in on the turn, steered out at the top of the lane and could not make an impact. PRACTICAL JACK took contact from YAUTOWN at the start, stalked the top trio four wide into the turn, moved into the three path around the bend and tired. GETTINGAWAYWITHIT broke inward, dropped back while racing greenly, angled to the inside, shifted to the two path early on the turn and was never a factor.

DETAIN (IRE) traveled in mid-pack outside a rival, closed in on the far turn, tipped three wide past the quarter pole, finished willingly down the lane and earned the show honors while whittling the gap late. WATSONVILLE steered to the inside racing at the back of the pack, tip two then three wide on the far turn, angled down to the inside while closing through the lane and rounded out the superfecta. CITY EXILE (GB) trailed two wide around the first turn, eased out to the four path around the second bend, steered out widest in upper stretch and improved position. MAN AMONG MEN laid well off the pace in the two path, ridden along through the far turn, shifted three wide turning for home, chased between rivals and could not rally. CENTRODELANTERO raced outside a rival toward the rear, went three deep around the far turn, came four wide into the stretch and failed to rally. DHITJARI (GB) was forwardly placed early in the two path, moved inside on the backstretch, waited behind the leader on the far turn, given his cue at the top of the lane and weakened. HENRY ADAMS (IRE) settled in mid-pack along the inside, crept closer leaving the backstretch, found traffic turning for home, had the rider lose the crop midstretch, churned on through the lane and found some tight quarters between late. SCIPIO raced well off the pace on the inside and was outrun. TEMPUS VOLAT raced up close three deep around the first turn, flanked the leader up the backstretch, chased two wide around the far turn and retreated.

DUKE OF ORLEANS chased well off the rail from off the pace, exited the bend five deep, closed well in the late stages and gained third. HE'S GOT FIRE vied four deep between rivals in the early going, lost touch briefly on the turn then reengaged three deep midway around the bend, carried a short lead two wide into the lane, lost command at the top of the stretch, fought back into deep stretch then flattened a bit late. R DANNY BOY fought between rivals up the backstretch, took over early on the turn, lost command after moving to the inside late on the bend, yielded to he top pair in upper stretch, then stayed on well from the rail to the wire. BIG NOTION followed in range from off the rail, lost ground on the turn, went two wide into the lane, bumped with outer rival at the eighth pole and could not rally. NAUDESNOODLE chased out wide from off the pace, entered the lane six runners deep and failed to threaten. WILD KING threw his head and was off slow to begin, raced near the back in the early going, went two wide into the stretch, angled out in the lane and improved position. FIRE CHIEF chased from inside out of range of the speed battle, saved ground through the turn, moved off the fence in upper stretch and lacked a response. LAST CALL GENO broke a bit slow, laid well off the pace, exited the turn in the three path, steered out in the drive and was never a factor. SUBIC BOY vied three deep between rivals to the turn, failed to match strides and gave chase in the three path around the bend, then tired in the lane. READYTOBOARD fought with several rivals to the outside for the early lead, could not keep pace at the quarter pole, tired in upper stretch and was eased in the final furlong. HARRISBURGER was off very slow to start, tucked inside at the back and never got involved.

HALNINETHOUSAND traveled in mid-pack on the inside, hugged the rail to the stretch and lacked a rally. OFF THE BENCH showed early speed from inside then took a stalking position for the clubhouse turn, closed in on the leader leaving the backstretch, bid from outside with three furlongs remaining, fought three deep at the eighth pole, failed to keep up with the top trio approaching the stretch and weakened in the drive. WASTING ACES went three wide into the first turn then got carried to the five path around the bend, traveled three deep in the middle stages, picked up stride around the far turn, came four wide into the lane and flattened out. HEROIC DOSE raced three then two wide near the back early, traveled between foes on the backstretch, found the rail on the far turn, showed some late interest but had to put the brakes on when lacking room in deep stretch and could not regain momentum. ISLAND PARADISE pulled the rider in the early stages, moved off the fence late on the backstretch, crept closer around the far turn, angled out at the eighth pole and failed to menace. SUNK COST FALLACY chased two wide into the first turn then began to pull between rivals, moved inside on the backstretch, saved ground to the stretch and failed to menace. MY MAN JOE ROLDAN went three deep around the first turn while settling in mid-pack, traveled outside a rival in the middle stages, pursued in range with a quarter mile remaining, tipped three wide into the lane and flattened out. MAJOR MO was ridden along four wide at the back on the clubhouse turn, asked left handed into the backstretch, continued under coaxing to the far turn, lightly coaxed when offering no response around the bend, eased in the lane and walked off.
