JIMMY P came away at the rear leaving the flag-fall, steadied behind a fallen foe after landing over fence one, raced outside under reserve, bumped with a foe going around the third turn, moved closer in the vicinity of fence six then was jostled in the hindquarters after landing over that fence, chased down the backstretch for the final time, dropped back after fence eight, pursued the leader around the final turn, rallied inside the runner-up in the final furlong and closed determinedly to get up late and prevail. ROCKET ONE was keen into the first turn then reserved on the outside, moved closer near fence six, stalked the leader from that juncture, made a bid on the final turn, took the lead at the top of the stretch then kicked clear, remained clear into the final sixteenth but was caught late while far clear for the place. COUTACH (GB) was very rank into the first turn then went to the front, opened up a sizable advantage, struggled some over fence five, saw the lead diminish near fence six, was roused on the final turn, lost the advantage to the runner-up at the top of the stretch and tired but was well clear for the show. LITTLE TRILBY (GB) was reserved towards the rear under restraint, bumped with a rival on the third turn, struggled some over fence five, steadied behind a falling opponent after landing over fence six, struggled some more over fences seven then eight and came up empty. WE'RE BACK AGAIN (IRE) was taken back on the first turn, saved ground while rated off the pace, struggled over fences eight and nine then had nothing left. ZIGGLE POPS (GB) was reserved on the outside, stumbled landing over fence six and unseated the rider. MCTIGUE (IRE) hit the fence at jump one and stumbled some landing then unseated the rider.

VENETTA got away to an awkward start, chased just off the inside coming under coaxing at the seven-sixteenths pole, tipped three wide at the three-eighths marker, angled five wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive issuing a challenge inside the final furlong and was up in the last jumps to score. HOT CURRENCY pressed the pace of GALINDA from the outside in the three path down the backstretch, tucked to the two path through the turn advancing to duel with that rival coming under coaxing with five-sixteenths to go, swung four wide into upper stretch, seized command just outside the eighth pole, dug in under growing late threat and was caught in the final strides to the finish. GALINDA cut the pace along the inside down the backstretch under pressure from the aforementioned foe to the outside, had that rival advance into the turn and knocked heads through the bend under urging from the five-sixteenths pole, spun three then two wide into upper stretch, dug in under threat and was collared just outside the eighth pole, kept on clear of the rest for the show honors. VICTORY HALL three to four wide in pursuit, got ridden along three furlongs from home, angled seven wide at the head of the stretch, tired. IRISH LULLABY chased four paths off the inside down the backstretch and then four wide through the turn under urging from the three-eighths marker, angled in inside the five-sixteenths to take the inside route into upper stretch, then tired in the drive. PINKY BRIER coaxed from the start, chased four then three wide under prolonged coaxing from the nine-sixteenths pole, cornered four wide into upper stretch and trailed throughout.

BEING BETTY stalked the pace on thee outside in the two path, made a bid with three furlongs to run, took the lead just inside the five-sixteenths pole, responded well under a strong hand-ride in upper stretch, came under the crop inside the furlong marker, swapped back to her inside lead inside the sixteenth-pole and held under strong urging. MIDNIGHT CONCERTO went around the first turn in the two path, settled on the outside but with cover, passed the nine-sixteenths under urging, was roused for more while moving from the two path to the four path on the final turn, chased in upper stretch, kept on in pursuit of the winner in the final furlong and willingly earned the place. FIVE G saved ground while rated off the pace, was asked while moving from the rail to the three path on the far turn, chased the leader under a drive into the final furlong, kept on willingly in pursuit of that foe to the finish and missed the place while narrowly able to get the show. NATIONAL ARCHIVE moved in early, saved ground while reserved off the pace, was roused on the far turn, moved off the rail outside the quarter-pole, came out to the four path into upper stretch then moved further out and gained with late energy to just miss the trifecta. SPINNING COLORS was hustled to the front, showed the way in hand while on the inside, was asked under threat from the winner on the far turn, lost the lead late on that bend, fought under a drive into the final furlong and weakened. TRAIL OF GOLD was last into stride, saved ground on the first turn, was unhurried at the rear, went around the far turn in the two path under some urging and lacked the needed response.

MI BAGO raced forwardly placed from the start and ranged up just off the inside through the first turn to take command six and a half furlongs from home, showed the way in hand just off the inside shaking away midway down the backstretch to a clear advantage, remained just off the inside through the far turn and was patiently handled, the rider sneaking a peek back near the five-sixteenths marker to assess any oncoming danger, spun two to three wide into upper stretch set down for the drive, shied out slightly under a left handed crop a furlong out and inside the eighth pole before being corrected under a right handed flash of the crop and held well and clear to the finish kept to task. LEON BLUE away to the front, showed the way early a bit reluctant and was taken hold of and eased off before being throttled down six and a half furlongs from home as MI BAGO took over the front, settled content to track that rival along the inside on hold until placed to motivation with five-sixteenths to run, cornered just off the inside into upper stretch and tired. FUNNY FACTOR brushed the off side stall at the start, raced just off the inside in pursuit from mid pack, came under urging at the five-sixteenths marker, angled four to five wide into upper stretch and tired.
