FREE LANE broke slowly, advanced outside of rivals heading to the turn, gained ground two wide to upper stretch, caught in traffic nearing the sixteenth-pole, was outkicked in deep stretch and was clear for third. TEXAS TECH LEGS broke alertly and assumed early command, set a contested pace into the turn, dueled MICHIGA to upper stretch then continued that battle into the final furlong, was overtaken at the sixteenth-pole then faded in deep stretch. HADDONFIELD broke a bit awkwardly and was off a step slowly, settled off the early pace, gained ground two to three wide into the lane, could not sustain that run and flattened out. TRES AMORE broke in at the start and crowded inner rival, tracked the early pace while saving ground into the turn, lost position to upper stretch then weakened in the stretch drive. MY KENTUCKY CHROME crowded at the start, rated off of the early pace then trailed into the turn, swung two to three wide to upper stretch and did not factor late.

VANISHING MONEY sent leaving the start, assumed early command and set the pace while carving solid fractions into the turn, kept foes at bay to upper stretch, drew clear into the final furlong and held sway to the wire. AMERICAN BALLAD forwardly placed early on, stalked the solid pace two wide to the quarter marker, was repelled to upper stretch, chased the winner into the final furlong and held well late for the place. CALL ME RAY hopped then crowded at the start and was off slowly, settled to the turn, weaved through foes into upper stretch, angled out into the final sixteenth, closed willingly in deep stretch and got up for the show honors. COWBOY CAMPFIRE traded bumps with CHANCE OF SNOW at the start but was away in good order, rated off of the early pace, chased two wide to the quarter pole then angled in to upper stretch, lacked a final kick into deep stretch and was nailed on the wire for third. TUMBLEWEED broke in then was bumped at the start and was off slowly, recovered then advanced while widest into the turn, spun five wide to upper stretch and lacked a late rally. FORT SUMNER bobbled then broke out at the start and bumped with TUMBLEWEED at the break, rushed up and chased the early pace two to three wide, was outkicked to upper stretch and weakened in the lane. CHANCE OF SNOW made contact with an outer rival at the start but was away in good order, tracked the early pace from between rivals, saved ground into the turn then lost position along the bend, shifted out to upper stretch, lacked a response at the furlong marker and did not factor late.

MY YELLOWSTONE assumed early command, set a moderate pace to the quarter marker, led while off of the rail into upper stretch, kept to task into the final furlong and held safely in the late stages. RUNAWAY GODDESS showed speed and contested the early pace from between rivals, got shuffled back into the turn, chased three wide to upper stretch, fought on into the final furlong but could not muster the needed late response. STRIKE THE SENSES hopped at the start, settled off of the early pace then advanced outside of rivals heading to the turn, loomed three to four wide at the quarter pole, ran in pursuit to mid-stretch then weakened in the final stages. SOPHISTICAT got crowded then bumped at the start then was rank in the early stages, waited behind runners into the turn, saved ground to upper stretch and did not offer the needed response in the stretch.
