UTOPIA ROSE raced two wide through the first while settled back, then came five wide through the second turn and swung out wide into the upper but needed more. SING SCAT was squeezed at the break and quickly set a pressured pace from the two path, came out into the upper to be four wide but weakened in the stretch. CROSSATI tracked the pace two wide and was placed between rivals through to the backstretch, came three wide through the turn and shifted in and the corner off the turn but lacked kick. JASSAI settled mid-pack three wide through the first turn and came out to be five wide through the second, made a bid but faded deep in the stretch. CHACARERA stumbled at the break and settled off the pace on the inside, came out nearing the five sixteenths marker and was six wide through the turn but was no factor.

MEGAN'S HONOR stalked the leader on the outside up the backstretch, continued around the turn in the four path, dueled in upper stretch and edged clear. NEWYEARSBLOCKPARTY chased the leader on the outside through the opening quarter, challenged from the three path coming around the bend, dueled in upper stretch and was caught late. LIMIT UP raced off the pace on the outside early, swung out to the five path to began a bid coming around the turn and improved position in the lane. HAPPY INSTEAD raced in the middle of the pack on the inside up the backstretch, drifted in to save ground around the bend and finished evenly.
