FREE CHARGING stalked the pace five wide, was checked back at the nine sixteenths pole, trailed through the turn, passed tiring foe in the stretch. ADONCIA opted to be the early trailer, began advancing along the inside after the half mile marker, faded in the stretch.

IKIGAI quickly took command along the inside, came under pressure from UNDALAY through the turn, pulled away from that one in the upper stretch and floated out to the three path, kept on task to maintain advantage. BANG A RANG chased the pace setter, made an inside bid rounding the turn but was held off by the winner. MEGAN'S HONOR ran between foes, gained position through the turn, stayed close up down the stretch. SANTOS TO WILSON bobbled at the start, steadily advanced four wide and entered the stretch in a prominent position, had no closing bid. UNDALAY saved ground to press the pace from the three path, flattened out in the stretch. COALMINER'S KITTEN trailed shortly after the start, passed tired foe in the stretch. HUNTERS GHOST raced off the pace, never threatened.

POWER WRENCH settled off the pace along the inside, was roused through the far turn and swung out four wide at the top the stretch, drove clear of the remaining foes. MUSKET MAGIC vied for the early lead three wide, claimed sole command midway through the first turn, met a bid from LEO Q in the far turn, fought hard to hold that one off but gave way to the eventual winner at the sixteenth. LEO Q vied for early command along the inside, conceded to MUSKET MAGIC midway through the first turn, changed lanes and moved up to contest the lead in the far turn, floated about down the stretch, had no closing bid. GOLD RULES shadowed the pace along the inside, attempted to split foes at the eighth but was checked back. MAGNUS GOLD settled off the pace, made improvements three wide in the stretch. HOTTER THAN DEM found position in the middle of the pack, made no bid. YOUREAWIZARD HARRY trailed for most, passed tired foes. JUSTE UN CHEVAL vied for the early lead between foes, surrendered position midway through the first turn, retreated midway through the far turn. GIMME ME BIT moved up through the first turn to stalk the pace four wide, began a slow retreat at the three eighths. JOCKEY'S OBJECTION LODGED BY GOLD RULES ON LEO Q CLAIMING INTERFERENCE IN THE STRETCH WAS DISALLOWED BY THE STEWARDS AND NO CHANGE WAS MADE.

JOHNNYFRENCHFRI settled off the pace in the two path, loomed along the inside of the turn to take charge by the eighth, held firm. DONTBESOOGROUCHY settled off the pace three wide, rallied well but was held at bay by the winner. GUAPO AGAIN (ARG) vied for command just off the rail, met an inside bid from the eventual winner at the top of the stretch and yielded at the eighth, gave way to one more in the final yards. SAYBROOK vied for command three wide, flattened out in the final furlong. GOT GHOSTED chased the battling leaders a few lengths back, closed some ground in the turn and angled out five wide at the top of the stretch, shifted in to the two path for the final furlong to make some minor improvements. DR. PERRY was off slowly, gained position along the inside of the upper stretch but flattened out in the final furlong. ROLLING ON vied for command between foes, was cued at the three eighths but lacked any response, weakened down the stretch. WOODCHUCK raced off the pace, retreated, eased across.

RAGS TO LACE vied for the lead alongside GIFT FROM HEAVEN, claimed sole command after the half mile marker, held off a bidder in the upper stretch and drew clear. ORIGINAL SCORE was bumped at the start, shadowed the pace from the inside, moved up through the far turn turn the lead in the upper stretch but was no match for the winner. HENRY'S BUDDY found position in the middle of the pack between runners, split foes in the far turn and entered the stretch in a prominent position three wide, weakened along the left lead. FIFTEEN HUNDRED R saved ground to race off the pace in the two path, gained position along the inside of the far turn, flattened out in the stretch. FRATELLONE tracked the pace three wide, lacked any response, faded in the stretch. ROBERT LEE was bumped between foes at the start, advanced along the outside of the first turn, stalked the pace four wide up the backstretch, began retreating in the far turn. GIFT FROM HEAVEN bumped inner foe at the start, vied for early command with RAGS TO LACE from the two path, conceded after the half mile marker and retreated. LUCKCREST raced off the pace on the inside, faded fast through the far turn, eased across. ULTRA SMART was bumped between foes at the start, trailed distantly throughout, eased across, walked off.

SECRET VICTORY was off slowly, moved close up to the pace along the inside before the first turn, shifted out at the top of the stretch but came up empty. SILENT MELODY broke slowly, advanced along the outside to track the pace four wide, faded in the stretch. SMOOTH CLARET rushed up for a ground saving lead before the first turn, conceded the lead to CHILLING FACTOR at the three quarters, continued to press that foe before taking the far turn quite outwardly, showed little in the stretch. LA SCATTA trailed for most, passed tiring foe.
