BAYTOWN ANUBIS stalked closest to the leader from the tow path, had his hand forced by an outer foe and moved to vie two wide approaching the half mile pole, sparred around the far turn, but got swiftly outkicked by an outer bidder reaching the quarter pole then faded. MARTECK brushed with an inner foe at the start, pursued from the two path, chased in the three path and between foes into the lane but brushed with an outer rival in midstretch while tiring. BREA FROM THREE set the pace along the inside, sparred with an outer rival into and around the far turn, but proved no match for a wider bidder at the quarter pole and faltered. DAUNTED raced off of the pace while hung in the six path then was done early.

HALFIN settled in the three path, crept closer in the four path around the far turn, tipped five wide into the lane, rallied to bid outside of the game leader at the sixteenth pole, dueled late and prevailed at the wire. SENORA D'ORO brushed with an outer foe at the start, settled along the inside, progressed in the four path around the far turn, bid nearing the lane, dueled with an inner foe through midstretch, but got outkicked by an outer bidder at the sixteenth pole, yielded yet lasted for show. UNION EMPRESS trailed in the two path, shifted to the four path entering the lane then ran on to miss show. NICO'S DERBY RUN pursued two wide and between horses, shifted out to the five to six path into upper stretch and failed to menace on his left lead. BROGUE tracked along the inside, chased around the far turn, shifted out in upper stretch and gave way. BLUE COAST set a clear pace along the inside, but got caught entering the lane and weakened. MERLOTTI lacked speed along the inside, got rank and pulled behind foes around the first turn, took the far turn in the four path, got floated to the seven path entering the lane and made little impact.

TRUE CLASS stalked in the two path, assumed command inside of the leader nearing the far turn, opened up handily around that bend then was geared down through the final furlong yet lasted safely as her margin diminished. GIO LINH brushed an outer foe at the start, pursued from the two path, chased in the three path around the far turn, moved out to the five path into upper stretch, rallied to quickly gain on the clear leader late but ran out of ground. NAN O'HARA bumped with an inner foe at the start, settled in the four path, advanced between horses at the furlong grounds and ran on. LIL' HOTTIE bumped with an outer rival at the start, trailed in the three to four path, advanced in the six path around the far turn then leveled off. TIZ SALTY saved ground off of the pace, shifted out in upper stretch then failed to menace. LYRIC STREET was bumped between horses at the start, tracked from the four to two path, claimed place at the three furlong pole, chased the clear leader while leaning to the four path entering the lane and faded. TALE OF LADY MARIA tracked near the inside then gave way. QUINCE broke a beat slow, bumped with an outer foe and was put to tight quarters between rivals at the start, lacked speed near the two path and made little impact. RUN MAMA RUN stalked in the three to five path then tired. STAR WATCH jostled with an inner rival at the start, recovered quickly and opened up a wide advantage in the two path around the first turn, got overhauled by an inner rival while passing the seven sixteenths pole the four path, faltered between horses around the far turn then was eased through the lane.

HARDTOBLAME brushed an outer rival at the start, tracked from the three to four path, pursued within range outside of the leaders turning for home, but chased into the lane and gave way. DEWY'S DENALI lacked speed along the inside, shifted to the four path into the lane and failed to factor. PETOSKEY STONES was brushed by an inner foe at the start, lacked speed in the four to three path and made little impact. VALIANT AWARD pursued from the two path, chased between horses around the turn then faded. MOUNTAIN WOLF bumped the gate and dislodged his rider at the start. MY SECRET DREAMS tracked two wide and between horses, progressed five wide turning for home, bid in upper stretch, vied into the final sixteenth but got outkicked on both sides. HOWYOUDOSOMETHING bobbled at the start, tracked in the five path and between horses, progressed to bid at the five furlong pole, vied two wide and between rivals shortly after, dug in to battle through midstretch but yielded among foes late. SOUPERRAZZLEDAZZLE saved ground off of the pace, awaited racing room behind foes turning for home, shifted out to the seven path leaving upper stretch and ran on belatedly. ZENA CAT stalked in the four path, bid four wide at the quarter pole, vied while getting outkicked at the furlong grounds then yielded between foes. GOODBETTERBEST tracked from the three path, then within striking range at the half mile pole, but lacked a response to urging among foes at the three furlong marker then weakened turning for home. P K WOOD broke slowly then tossed his head at the start, trailed in the three path, spun to the four path into the lane, moved up between horses before offering an inside bid for show but missed at the wire. COMEDIC TIMING pursued from the five path, yielded between horses at the three furlong pole, shfited out to the seven path into upper stretch and failed to menace.
