DOC'S LUV had a hustling early ride three deep when the gate opened up to seize control by the half, cleared off getting the rail by the three eighths marker, had company outside when headed by two runners at the quarter pole, inched away again when asked for more two wide at the top of the lane and under a busy ride just prevailed at the wire in a tight finish. LADY ON THE NILE was away alertly having her head in front in the early going, surrendered the lead by the half mile marker, sat poised on the fence behind the pacesetter throughout the turn, was looking for running room deciding which path, either inside or outside to go in upper stretch, opted for the fence darting inside the leader with a furlong remaining and just missed timing the nod for the win at the wire in a photo. BUTTERFLY BILLIE had a slow start while veering out on the break trailing down the back straight, moved up throughout the bend closing the gap sharply two wide at the quarter pole, loomed boldly widest in the six path at the top of the lane but stalled into the stretch headwind by the furlong pole to be a non-threatening third when crossing the finish line. RELOAD BABA was in the mix with runners on either side up front after the break, tracked the lead duo when entering the turn, was forced to move in between rivals with the outside runners making a move in midturn, fought on in the hunt four wide at the top of the lane but faded in the final eighth of a mile. MISCHIEVOUS MYRA had a sluggish start stalking near the rear ahead of only the other poor starter in the beginning, made any early move sensing the soft early pace to bid three wide outside two others at the five sixteenths pole, battled up top in the five path between horses turning for home, could not sustain the rally and wilted by the furlong marker.

VEGAS ROAD broke sharp for the early lead, was then reined in to track the leader with a half mile still to run, took closer order between foes to make a bid in the two path at the five sixteenths pole, had a head in front with challengers on each side turning for home, stubbornly battled to the wire and prevailed in a close finish in the end. MISS SOOTHSAYER was bumped by the inside foe on the start, settled outside of runners in mid-pack travelling down the backside, sat isolated at the five sixteenths pole starting to move in on the embattled trio, shifted four wide off the dueling threesome for clear run at the top of the stretch and had a solid late surge but just could not get to the winner in time. MONEY HEIST was under a good hold going three deep being part of the front group down the backstretch, inched up three wide making his presence felt on the inside two rivals by midturn, loomed boldly in the three path at the top of the lane but needed more in the late running unable to match strides with the top two in deep stretch. LADY BIA was away sluggishly trailing the field along the backside, lagged well behind the pack entering the turn, started to make a rally picking up an inside rival at the quarter marker and finished up with good late energy for a minor award in the end. TWIST OF SUGAR broke a step slow leaving the gate, recovered quickly to have the advantage on the rail by the half, was headed midway around the oval, fought on stubbornly on the fence until the furlong pole and weakened in the final sixteenth just getting caught at the wire for a minor share. SEEKING MAGIC broke outwards at the start, stalked near the rear inside foes along the back straight, regressed through the turn to see the field with a quarter mile remaining and had little to offer in the stretch drive.

GOT A COMPLEX was nudged along slightly getting control in the early going inside a couple of challengers, opened up at will by the three eighths marker setting a brisk pace, had a commanding advantage at the top of the stretch and cruised in comfortably for the gate to wire score. AINT NO GIRLY GIRL was in good position, all alone watching the front pair in the early stages, moved up on the rail for the second position but was well behind the dominant winner around the bend and never gave in through the lane closing the gap on the leader while all the time holding off rivals to be second best on this day. SILVERDART prompted the early pace going three deep outside foes down the back straight, chased the frontrunner in vain by the three furlong pole, battled for the secondary share outside at the quarter marker and continued to fight for second place share with an inside rival down the lane but lost the duel settling for the show money instead at the end. BEACH CRICKET broke with the field but was slow getting into full stride trailing the pack down the backside, shifted out at the five sixteenths pole coming to a runner, moved out five wide for the drive to the wire and came with a solid late run having a good turn of foot in the final sixteenth of a mile. BLUE'S MOMMY had a stalking role watching the lead three down the back straight, lost ground while taken the short way around the bend to see the field with a quarter still to run and had little to offer on the fence in the stretch running.

HIGHWAYTOTHEMOON stalked from outside off the leaders racing three to four wide, surged late to get up at the wire. SO DELICIOUS came in at the start but away well, set the pace from outside while pressured by an inside foe, was in command coming into upper stretch, dueled late but was outfinished. MARSHAL brushed a rival lightly in the early going, raced in behind just off the fence into the turn, came out four wide turning for home, tipped out a bit wider in the stretch, rallied too late but got up for show outside rivals. LUCKY GUEST was coaxed forward from the break, lightly brushed soon after, pressed from inside, dropped back and was encouraged along past the three-eighths, came out a bit seeking room, faced traffic in the stretch, ran on. FLEET OF FOOT was in tight at the start, raced at the back outside, failed to menace. KENTUCKY BILL broke a step slowly, saved ground inside at the back, was never near enough to threaten.

MAGIC POWER travelled four deep outside three others arguing for the front end along the back straight, cruised three wide around horses at the seven sixteenths pole to seize control easily by the three eighths marker, opened up under a snug hold not yet being asked with a quarter mile to run and kept on motoring on the fence through the stretch for the impressive score. YACHT BOY was void of early foot trailing the field but that was not a bad thing as the four combatants were all vying for the early lead, continued at the rear making little progression around the turn, moved out widest for clear run five wide turning for home, did not switch leads in the stretch run but still finished well to best the rest outside for the place share. HUMBER RIVER took back from being part of the early fray in the two by the half mile marker, commenced a run when shifting out at the five sixteenths pole coming to the chasing rivals, moved to the four path in the mix for a piece of the prize between foes at the top of the stretch, could not threaten the winner with a furlong remaining and was outkicked by the stablemate outside fighting for second money in deep stretch. WAR STRATEGY dueled between rivals for the front end in the two to three path, came under a ride chasing the loose leader around the turn making little gain, could not get to the winner at the top of the stretch just off the fence while holding the place position and could not find more in the late running and faded in the last furlong to settle for a minor award in the end. INDY ONE force the early issue on the rail inside foes along the backside, was scrubbed on midturn on the rail but was going in the wrong direction around the bend and had little to offer late faltering inside foes in the stretch drive.

SPLIT STRIKE exchanged light contact at the start then was coaxed forward inside to soon make the lead, set the tempo up the backstretch, was challenged on the far turn and headed past the quarter pole, was guided out to engage the outside leader in the stretch appearing to brush lightly, dueled inside that foe and was resurgent in very late stretch to prevail. WAGNER got away well but was soon outsprinted, pressed the eventual winner from outside, drew nearly even coming to the quarter pole now under a ride, struck a narrow lead soon after, dueled in the stretch appearing to exchange incidental contact, was outfinished but second best. MOON LANDING exchanged minor contact at the start, lacked early speed despite encouragement, raced near the fence through the turn cutting the corner into upper stretch, kept on inside to get up for show. ARTEMUS CITYLIMITS chased from outside three to four wide, came out five then six wide for the drive, evened out in the lane. ONE TRUE GENTLEMAN tracked from inside, was off the rail in behind the leaders coming past the quarter pole, angled six wide at the top of the stretch, failed to rally. CHAMBERS stalked outside just off the leaders three to four wide, came into upper stretch five wide, failed to rally.
