MOBULA had a slim lead with a scramble up top leaving the gate, cleared off angling to the rail by the half, rolled along well within herself unopposed throughout the turn, and was well rated to have plenty more in the drive when roused opening up further at the eighth pole to cruise in for the gate to wire score. ROCKET RILEY had a stalking trip inside near the rear in the early going, had to be throttled down waiting for a stride or two seeing the field at the five sixteenths pole, shifted out reaching for more ground at the quarter marker, swung out widest in the six path having clear run at the top of the lane and offered a solid late charge outside of horses in the drive to best the rest for the runners up share. CATCH THE DRIFT was unhurried trailing the field outside along the back straight, started to uncork a rally three wide around foes in midturn, shifted out to the four path for the stretch drive and finished up willingly between horses in the final furlong to be a clear third. ENCHANTED FOREST settled in midfield isolated on the fence at the half mile marker along the backside, made little progression saving all the ground around the oval, hugged the rail turning for home but could only run on evenly inside of horses, passing the weary rivals at the furlong pole to garner a minor share in the end. EARENDEL traded brushes with the outside rival on the break, had an outside tracking role on the lead duo down the backside, battled in the mix three wide outside the other two rivals arguing for the lead midway around the bend, angled out four wide in the conversation on the front end straightening out for home but had little left for the late running and wilted by the furlong marker. BRENGUNGIRL pressed the issue on the fence in the beginning, had to be checked in tight quarters on the rail at the nine sixteenths pole losing some momentum, re-engaged in the two path chasing the leader with an outside foe by the midpoint of the turn, came under a ride unable to keep up with the lead duo by the top of the lane and folded staying on the incorrect lead in the final furlong. STEWARD'S INQUIRY DOWN THE BACKSTRETCH IN THE VICINITY OF THE NINE-SIXTEENTHS POLE REGARDING 3# MOBULA AND #1 BRENGUNGIRL RESULTED IN 3# MOBULA BEING DISQUALIFIED AND PLACED LAST FOR INTERFERENCE

DONTGOBACKONURWORD was bumped between runners at the break, shifted in early settling off the pace, advanced outside a foe on the turn, steadied at the top of the stretch altering outside rivals, was gaining but too late. ISAAC LEO was sent right to the lead, set the pace from off the rail, was overtaken in upper stretch and lacked the needed late kick. MISS D'S PRIDE broke a bit awkwardly, chased from inside foes, steadied past the half then checked sharply past the seven-sixteenths losing several lengths at that juncture, ran on mildly up the inside late. SPRINGER broke out a bit and a touch awkwardly, settled off the pace, was forced outside foes advancing past the quarter pole five wide, evened out in the drive. FIELD HOCKEY chased from between runners early, was brushed and shuffled back switching outside foes to pursue from off the inside, advanced four wide between foes past the quarter pole then flattened out. TEMPLE HALL bumped the inside foe at the start, chased from outside, dropped back and faded.
