APROPOS attended the pace along the inside, steadied from tight quarters near the seven-sixteenths pole, altered course to the outside midway through the turn, loomed large four wide entering the stretch, was floated out through the drive and was unable to resist the winner. JAN'S PERFECT STAR tracked the pace three wide, came to level terms with five-sixteenths to run, forged command entering the stretch, was collared with a furlong to run, drifted out through the drive, and weakened between horses. FLASHY AMERICAN was unhurried into stride, came three wide to make a belated gain but failed to threaten. FIVE STAR MOMMA sped clear to set the pace, was collared after a half, wilted in the final furlong and faded. HONEY HUES contended four wide for a half and dropped out.

OUR DOUBLE PLAY broke sharply then was content to rate outside RIVER ROCKS, moved to command between rivals approaching the stretch, turned away an outside bid by STAN ABHAILE straightening for the wire, responded to stout left handed encouragement, eagerly widened and was kept alert to the wire. SLAN ABHAILE moved up three wide after a quarter mile and tracked a contested pace, bid to challenge near the quarter pole, could not go on with the winner from the three sixteenths marker but was clearly second best. RIVER ROCKS broke a step slow, recovered and was sent up inside rivals to take the early lead, set a pressured pace along the rail, was displaced after five furlongs, gave chase to mid stretch and faded. GOMBEY DANCER saved ground while in range, came under a solid hand ride mid turn, eased out in the lane but lacked a serious response. NUBIN RIDGE , off the early pace while saving ground, angled out after a half mile, made a slight four wide run between rivals in upper stretch but failed to sustain through the last furlong. FINN'S QUEST was backed out of the gate after being restless, was sluggish early and never threatened. CONE OF LIGHT , three wide early, angled five wide for the drive but had no rally.

ATIGUN vied for the lead off the inside while patiently handled, drew clear into the stretch when ready then stayed clear while kept to the task. UNDER CONTROL (BRZ) outsprinted early, advanced four wide on the second turn, drifted in in midstretch carrying SCREEN PLAY in a bit then lodged a mild bid for the place. PRIME CUT close up along the inside angled out a bit in search of a clear path approaching the furlong marker placing outer rivals in tight, was forced out soon after bothering those same rivals then finished willingly late. SCREENPLAY reserved early, advanced four wide into the second turn, reached a challenging position midway through that turn, steadied when in tight nearing the furlong marker then had no rally. OLD TIME HOCKEY vied for the lead inside, pressured the winner to the stretch, drifted out under left handed pressure in midstretch carrying PRIME CUT out then tired late. DISCUSSION CLOSED forwardly placed three wide, held on well to the stretch and tired. THE PIZZA MAN behind the leaders off the rail, maintained good position into the stretch, was in tight when PRIME CUT angled out a bit, took up and lost his action behind when that rival was carried out by OLD TIME HOCKEY then faded. FOLLOWING A STEWARDS INQUIRY, PRIME CUT WAS DISQUALIFIED AND PLACED LAST FOR INTERFERENCE IN THE STRETCH.

STRIKE ONE sped clear to dictate terms, repelled the challenge of RINCON BEHR after a half, widened entering the stretch, was kept to task and maintained a diminishing advantage. TROUBADOUR TANGO was allowed to settle, tucked in to save ground, advanced between horses through the turn and into the stretch, kicked on well but was unable to bridge the gap. SAINT X. attended the pace three wide, angled in entering the stretch but lacked the needed late response. MO JO settled in hand, moved up between horses leaving the turn, angled to the outside but flattened. KING OF BROADWAY was jostled at the start, split rivals to commence his bid inside the three furlong marker, got through along the inside and improved position. INDY AWESOME brushed the gate and was slow into stride, settled saving ground, angled out midway through the turn and was making up ground. RINCON BEHR stalked the pace four wide, moved up to engage the leader after a half, was unable to match strides with that one entering the stretch, weakened further and faded. CHIEF WHITE FOX was away in good order, quickly worked his way toward the back of the pack, and was never a factor. BAMA BOUND was forwardly placed four wide between horses, drifted out leaving the turn and retreated. WISDOM AND TRUTH broke slow, was unhurried between horses, steadied inside the three-eighths pole and lost all chance. UPON CRIPPLECREEK was outrun. ESPLENDIDO was through early.

BELLARMINE secured the inside around the first turn while contesting the pace, poked a head in front in early backstretch, took outside pressure while under a snug hold, edged clear under hand urging nearing the quarter pole, spurted away a bit in upper stretch, responded to strong handling from there and gamely held on. CODE WEST, caught between runners while stalking the pace, awaited room approaching the stretch, worked through a seam in upper stretch, shifted out and switched to his correct lead inside the three sixteenths marker, closed sharply once straightened and quickly gained. GHOST HUNTER, three wide tracking the leaders, came under a ride into the lane, ranged up outside the winner near the sixteenth marker then flattened out. PERFECT TITLE lagged back towards the inside, angled out into the lane, split rivals in mid stretch and kept on with good energy. HARD ACES, four wide the first turn, was steadied along leaving the three quarter pole, bumped with FIDDLER BLUE when advancing between rivals the far turn, came six wide for the drive, made slight progress nearing mid stretch then hung. BRAZILIAN COURT was sent up to contention around the first turn then angled to the four path, continued four wide pursuing the pace, remained a forward presence to upper stretch then faded. TWIN ENGINE , five wide early, raced three wide past the half mile pole, angled out some past the three eighths pole but failed to rally. TIZ ADONIS, away a bit awkwardly, was corrected and sent up to dispute the early pace, pressed two wide to the five sixteenths marker, chased into the lane then tired. BALANCE OF POWER, in a bit tight along the rail around the first turn, saved ground staling the pace, kept on for six furlongs then retreated. FIDDLER BLUE, five wide early, rated back past the three quarter pole, bumped with HARD ACES nearing the far turn, altered back in and gave way.

SOUTHERN DUDE drifted out early, alternated for the lead off the inside, battled to the final sixteenth and held on gamely. REGALLY READY drifted out early, was straightened and angled in, raced behind the leaders off the inside and lodged a mild late bid. HAVELOCK outsprinted early, raced near the rail on the turn and finished willingly late. CACTUS SON steadied early when in tight, recovered, raced off the inside on the turn and made a late gain. ICON IKE outsprinted early, raced in the four path on the turn, angled out for the drive and showed some late interest. GHOST IS CLEAR steadied early when in tight then was outrun while off the rail.

RUMOR was forwardly placed toward the inside, dropped off the leaders a bit leaving the turn, toiled on through the drive but failed to make headway. BYRAMA (GB) was unhurried into stride, came five wide to make a belated gain but was left with too much to do. EMMA'S ENCORE was allowed to settle three deep, came four wide but lacked a response when called upon. THERE IS NO LIMIT broke in the air to get away well behind her field, tucked in to save ground, angled out leaving the turn but was never a factor. SAME CROSS saved ground to little avail.

HUNGRY ISLAND , taken in hand early while off the rail, edged closer into the far turn, angled four wide advancing into the stretch, altered in a path when DAISY DEVINE drifted out in upper stretch, forged through between rivals to take over in mid stretch, was joined by the winner soon after, kept on gamely and missed. DAISY DEVINE tracked the pace four wide, rallied to challenge leaving the far turn, pressed into the lane, drifted out briefly in upper stretch, continued well between horses to mid stretch then faded. CHANNEL LADY was angled in around the first turn, edged closer nearing the half mile marker, bid to briefly challenge inside foes a furlong out but failed to sustain through the final sixteenth. KARLOVY VARY , four wide around the first turn, eagerly made her way to a stalking spot leaving the five eighths pole, gave pursuit to the head of the stretch then gave way. FRONTSIDE cleared early, set the pace off the rail, was joined around the far turn, maintained a short lead to the head of the stretch then surrendered. DRAMA DRAMA saved ground off the pace, angled out in upper stretch but failed to threaten. STOPSHOPPINGMARIA prompted the pace three wide, moved between foes to challenge leaving the far turn, dueled under a ride to the quarter pole, faltered in upper stretch then was eased through the final furlong.

TRINNIBERG came in a bit at the start tightening up inner rivals, set the pace in the three path, held on well to the final furlong and tired. UNBRIDLED'S NOTE bumped at the start, recovered to race within striking distance in the three path and faded after a half. NIGHT PARTY close up along the inside, stopped.

SLIM SHADEY (GB) was unruly in the gate, came away in good order, settled off of the inside to the second turn, angled out entering the stretch but went evenly. JERANIMO was allowed to settle off of the hedge, angled out leaving the second turn, drifted in through the drive but failed to improve position.

LINES OF BATTLE outsprinted early three wide, steadied briefly once in the second turn when making a mild gain, recovered and made a run between rivals approaching the stretch, was in traffic near the quarter mile marker, angled out but lacked a late bid. WILL TAKE CHARGE reserved four wide, made a five wide run on the second turn while rallying in company with the winner, checked in upper stretch when VERRAZANO drifted out then came up empty. CHARMING KITTEN outsprinted early while off the inside, made a mild run to the half mile marker but lacked a further response. GIANT FINISH within striking distance off the inside, moved out five wide entering the stretch and showed late interest. OVERANALYZE angled in early when outsprinted, moved to the rail late on the second turn when making a mild gain, altered course outside CHARMING KITTTEN with a sixteenth to then was no threat. PALACE MALICE gained a short lead out in the strip with a mile go, took over from the three path into the first turn, moved in to be off the rail while setting a fast pace, held on to the final quarter and tired. JAVA'S WAR hesitated at the start and angled sharply to the inside, angled out to the six path after six furlongs, made a mild run to the stretch but tired in the drive. VERRAZANO close up three wide, was urged along after a half to keep pace, made a mild run in the three path approaching the stretch, drifted out in upper stretch in front of WILL TAKE CHARGE then tired. ITSMYLUCKYDAY within reach for six furlongs, made a mild four wide run to the quarter mile marker but tired in the drive. FRAC DADDY five wide early, failed to respond in the stretch. GOLDENCENTS gained a brief lead early in the run to the first turn, saved ground on the second turn, dropped back suddenly and was eased up late. VYJACK four wide early, chased for six furlongs and stopped. FALLING SKY forward early three wide, maintained position for six furlongs and gave way. FOLLOWING THE SCRATCH OF BLACK ONYX, THE INSIDE STALL IN THE STARTING GATE WAS LEFT OPEN.

Z ROCKSTAR attended the pace three wide between horses, angled in entering the stretch, finished willingly but was unable to reach the winner. WASH PARK settled saving ground, got through entering the stretch and was making up ground. RIGHTFULLY SO brushed the gate and was away slowly, was unhurried into stride, angled out entering the stretch and improved position. CHINA opened clear to set the pace, was collared after a half and gave way readily entering the stretch. SILVER WINGS was close up four wide through the turn and tired. SEVEN LIVELY SINS failed to respond. WILD TARGET broke slow, was allowed to settle five wide and was never a factor.

COLUMN was away well to reach the front entering the first turn, set the pace from the two path while pressured from this inside, ran in stride with PONTIFF to the final turn and responded well to challengers late. LIFES REWARD raced unhurried on the first turn, advanced steadily along the back stretch to be in good position on the final turn and closed well. BEST REQUEST moved to the rail on the first turn to race near mid back, held position along the backstretch and responded with a late run to gain the show. MOSHAAGIB was pinched at the start, rated while racing on the outside, offered a bid along the final turn but could not gain further ground. SEEKING AN EMPIRE settled near the back entering the first turn, had a mild run near the midpoint but was empty late. SYLVESTER tracked the leaders while three wide, was in good position entering the second bend then gave ground through the lane. PREMIUM RALLY trailed in the early going and improved late. MIND ME BOYS showed good speed for a half mile racing on the inside and tired late. TO THE STARS broke inward and bumped MOSHAAGIB, raced three wide early from a forward position for a half mile and weakened. ILLUSION CONFUSION settled toward the rear and was not a threat. PONTIFF vied for the lead from inside COLUMN, raced on even terms with that one then weakened at the five-sixteenths pole. ZIO STEPHAN was close up early while well rated, swung seven wide out of the final turn then lost contact with the field.
