CELESTIAL DIAMOND rushed hard making the front, moved clear mid stretch, began to tire nearing the wire, prevailed late under a stiff drive. PROSPECTIVE KISS settled early racing mid pack, bid between foes at the quarter pole, came four wide upper stretch, surged willingly at the wire missing in a game try. SIR ROMEO unhurried in the early stages, roused turning for home, closed willing, too late. THE FLYN'JACAMACOO lacked speed and trailed to the quarter pole, came five wide upper stretch, hit stride too late, closed strongly in deep stretch. CART'S LAST CHANCE hustled racing in good stalking position, angled out entering the stretch crowding foes briefly, failed to menace and tired late. IKE raced evenly at mid pack, traveled five wide at the quarter pole, failed to threaten despite being hard ridden. HARKING showed good early foot, pressed the winner to mid turn, started to fade top of the lane, no late threat. JAZZ MASTER settled in the second flight racing well off the rail, was carried out by loose horse in upper stretch and was steadied in deep stretch. MANHASSET INDIAN stumbled at the break, was quickly sent up to press for the lead, vied to mid turn running between rivals, was all done top of the lane giving way. FOG BUSTER was never far off the pace holding a good tracking position, was caught in tight turning for home traveling between foes, clipped heels and lost the rider. A STEWARDS INQUIRY RESULTED IN NO CHANGE TO THE ORDER OF FINISH.

LEGENDARY MONARCH trailed to the far turn, advanced running five wide near the quarter pole, chased top pair in the lane saving third place late. HOT PROPOSITION rider lost irons going into the first turn, raced five wide for most of the trip, was outgamed late vying for third place in a game effort. KID KEARNY GABE tracked down the backstretch racing four to five wide, lost ground around the second turn, came six wide entering the stretch, failed to menace. BAND PLAYER set a pressured pace running in the two path to the half, gave way at the three sixteenths, used up. EGALITARIAN broke well and pressed the pace traveling three wide to the half, dropped off top of the stretch finishing spent.

GILDED TREASURE had good early foot stalking around the bend, traveled three wide giving chase entering the stretch, faded inside the eighth pole. HERE'STOTEMPERANCE well placed tracking the pace, had little left mid stretch and gave way. JONES TIME raced four wide around the bend in the second flight, no factor. LEADER OF THE LITE lacked speed and steadily retreated form the quarter pole, no factor.
