RENEGADE broke with the field, fell back to the rear, continued unhurried in hand up the backstretch off the inside, began to move in the far turn, reached the close to the front with a four wide burst turning for home, quickly clear while drifting out to the middle of the strip past the furlong grounds, continued strongly to the wire to prevail in convincing fashion. SILENT TACTIC settled in mid pack while just off the rail through the first turn, remained one paced the next quarter mile, also began to advance early in the final turn, came three wide when challenging for the drive, held a narrow advantage as the winner came calling nearing midstretch, proved no match for that one the final furlong while edging clear for the place. TAPTASTIC in the second flight while three wide, between foes and inside the runner up into the stretch, stalled a bit the next furlong then was along late for the show spot without posing a threat to the top two. BRICKLIN broke on top, prompted the leader from the outside, advanced on that one to take over with just over a quarter remaining, dueled briefly with the runner up into the stretch then began to weaken, continued to falter and was caught late for the show spot. BLACKOUT TIME within striking distance from off the inside, called on for some run late in the second turn, just off the rail, lacked a serious response and proceeded evenly through the lane. REDLAND REBELS away well, took control past the wire the first time, continued to show the way up the backstretch under a light hold, had little response when confronted midway on the final turn and steadily retreated through the stretch. LITMUS TEST broke near the back, four wide when back through the first turn, continued outside and had little when called on for the drive. EXOSOME last away, remained back while saving some ground, backed up through the stretch.
