CROWNING GLORY chased five paths off the rail down the backstretch and then three wide through the turn under a ride with seven-sixteenths to go, angled six wide into upper stretch and passed tired rivals to the wire. MY SHERRONA prompted the pace of NAKOMA from the outside three then two wide coming under coaxing when taking command near the quarter pole, spun three wide into upper stretch, yielded the front to COLD SPELL straightened away and tired. FUSION bobbled at the break and recovered inwards to take over the lane of the slower breaking COLD SPELL, chased three wide and faded down the backstretch tucking to the two path into the turn, spun just off the inside into upper stretch and tired. NAKOMA hustled from the gate, cut the pace just off the inside coaxed along lightly under some pressure from MY SHERRONA to the outside, tucked inside through the turn and came under urging midway, yielded the front nearing the quarter pole, took the inside route into upper stretch, tired, and was eased in the late stages to the end.

SENIOR OFFICER stalked the pace on the outside, was asked in the three path on the turn, chased the runner-up under a drive into the final furlong, gained into the final sixteenth and got up in the final stride to narrowly prevail. INCENTIVE PAY was a bit awkwardly into stride, settled towards the rear, was roused in the two path on the turn, moved to the three path late on that bend, turned into the stretch in the five path, shifted in outside the furlong marker and failed to respond. COMMUTED prompted the pace on the outside of the leader, chased the pace late on the backstretch, went around the turn in the two path, dropped back coming to the quarter-pole and faltered then was eased in the final furlong but walked off.

SCARLETT'S HALO three then two wide through the first turn, settled just off the inside near the rear of the field, tucked inside through the far turn coming under urging with five-sixteenths to go, angled four then three wide into upper stretch and offered up late foot to share in the show honors on the line. IMPERATRICE established the front after the start and crossed to the inside impeding TIZNOW MAMA and forcing that foe to check off her heels into the first turn just inside seven and a half furlongs to run, tipped to the two path and remained just off the inside down the backstretch and into the far turn before tucking nearer to the inside with five-sixteenths to run, spun just off the inside into upper stretch under a drive, dug in and was caught nearing the eighth pole, then weakened in the late stages. ETAWA (IRE) tracked the front two to three wide from mid pack, came under urging with five-sixteenths to go, angled out seven wide into upper stretch and offered no response. SONJA HENIE chased three then two wide coaxed along from the five-sixteenths marker, angled six wide into upper stretch and weakened in the late stage. MARY'S LAD (IRE) broke out and bumped with a rival, brushed with an opponent early, was urged along near the back, moved from the three path to the two path early on the turn, spun into the stretch in the four path then angled out and failed to threaten. CALDO CANDY bumped with rivals on both sides at the start then jostled with a foe early, was urged along off the pace, moved in near the nine-sixteenths pole, dropped from the two path to the inside late on the turn, came back off the rail in the stretch, brushed with an opponent outside the sixteenth-pole, came in and bumped BRAZENLY shortly thereafter and failed to respond. BRAZENLY bumped with an opponent at the start, lacked early speed then angled in at the rear, saved ground on the turn, was bumped by CALDO CANDY entering the final sixteenth then checked and failed to reach contention. BRIGHTLINE BULLET bumped with a rival at the start, chased the pace between horses, dropped back in the four then three path on the turn and capitulated. TRUST FUND was urged along between horses, dropped back in the six then five path on the turn and came up empty. STRATEGICOPERATION was ridden along well off the pace, raced in the three path on the turn, was driven into the stretch in the four path then moved in and failed to respond. GUN RANGE stumbled very badly at the start, was urged along on the outside while well back in the field, went around the turn in the four path, turned into the stretch in the six path and was no factor.

CLASSIC Q away well and to the front, showed the way in hand just off the inside and then along the inside down the backstretch and through the far turn patiently handled through moderate split, took the inside route into upper stretch and was roused straightened away, edged away to the eighth pole, dug in and held well and clear to the finish. MANDANABA (FR) coaxed from the gate, tracked the pace along the inside from a loose pocket, came under coaxing near the quarter pole and took the inside route into upper stretch, dug in under a drive running on willingly to procure the place honors. SEGESTA settled tracking the leader in closest aim two to three paths off the hedge, came under encouragement nearing the head of the stretch, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, ran on with good energy through to the finish to garner the show honors. DEEP SATIN settled two to three wide at the tail of the field under a rating hold, was just off the inside into the far turn when appearing to lose her footing, steadied at the three-eighths pole losing about two lengths of ground, got let out spinning three wide into upper stretch and kicked on belatedly to the wire. AND ONE MORE TIME three wide through the first turn, chased three to four paths off the inside coming under urging with five-sixteenths to go, bid three to four wide into upper stretch, couldn't sustain the move and was out-finished in the late stages. SANDTRAP (IRE) raced just off the inside off heels early on through the first turn hard held in the two path, settled under a light hold with five furlongs remaining, remained on hold until called upon spinning just off the inside into upper stretch, then offered no kick. FAST MARKET tracked the pace along the inside under rating, got let out angled five then four wide into upper stretch and weakened. BUTTERCREAM BABE four then three wide through the first turn, raced four then three wide in the clear, came under coaxing with five-sixteenths remaining, went seven wide into upper stretch and tired.

BOOK'EM DANNO was hustled from the gate then urged along just off the pace, dropped back some leaving the backstretch, chased in the two path for most of the turn then shifted to the three path, was driven into the stretch in the four path, pursued the leading duo while outside into the final furlong, gained while only flagged with the crop into the final sixteenth and went by the embattled duo late to prevail. BENTORNATO went to the front, was challenged to the inside near the five-eighths pole, vied in the three path on the turn, was given his cue near the quarter-pole, dueled determinedly outside of the runner-up into the final sixteenth, narrowly bested that foe for the place but was caught by the winner. LISTENUPSHANCE tossed his head and was off a bit slow, angled in at the rear then rushed up on the inside of the field, made a bid for the lead with five furlongs to run, drew even outside the half-mile pole, vied inside of BENTORNATO while inside to the two path on the turn, was asked near the quarter-pole, dueled gamely with the aforementioned foe into the final sixteenth and just missed the place while outfinished by the winner. IMAGINATION settled off the early pace, was taken up when BENTORNATO dropped in front of him near the five-eighths pole, saved ground while let out on the turn, was roused outside the quarter-pole, swapped back to his inside lead in upper stretch, dropped back into the final furlong, remained on his inside lead to the finish and lacked the needed response. ILLUMINARE bobbled at the start but broke with the body of the field, dropped back then settled on the outside, was urged along in the three path on the far turn, spun into the stretch in the four path and failed to rally. FAUST broke out at the start, settled near the rear of the field, saved ground while roused on the turn, turned into the stretch in the three path and was no factor.

ENGLISHMAN was away alertly, showed speed then pressed the pace on the outside, vied in three path for most of the turn, took the lead in the four path coming to the quarter-pole, moved clear in the five path into upper stretch, shied in when flagged with a right-handed crop near the furlong marker, was given one light pop of the crop outside the sixteenth-pole and proved much the best while kept to the task. CRUDE VELOCITY broke awkwardly and was off a step slow, moved up under urging, shifted out late on the backstretch, chased in the four path on the turn and proved no match for the winner while just able to get the place. STRADALE was hustled from the gate, moved up to establish a good position just off the pace, chased inside on the turn, moved to the two path late on that bend, was driven into the stretch in the three path and capitulated. SOLITUDE DUDE was hustled from the gate, moved up to get the lead then set the pace under pressure from his outside, vied inside to the two path on the turn, lost the advantage to the winner at the quarter-pole and faded. SIX SPEED was away awkwardly, dropped well off the pace, went around the turn in the two path and faltered then was eased in the stretch but walked off. TAJ MAHAL brushed the outside of the gate at the start, was urged along on the outside, dropped back after running three furlongs and retreated then was also eased but walked off.

NYSOS got bumped at the start by VIBE, who broke in a step, raced along the rail leading early on before coming under pressure from a pair nearing the backstretch, vied inside a pair of rivals with KNIGHTSBRIDGE in close attendance latched on the trio to the outside, eased off those rivals with five and a half furlongs to go and chased along the inside through to the three-eighths marker when tipped out two then three wide briefly before heading back to the two path at the five-sixteenths placed to encouragement, angled six wide into upper stretch rallying to engage the top pair and took command three-sixteenths from home, then edged clear to the finish to score. KNIGHTSBRIDGE got bumped at the break by RATED BY MERIT, who broke outwards, raced four wide through the first turn advancing to latch on a trio of rivals to the outside heads apart and disputing the pace into the backstretch, remained latched on while applying little pressure save through his presence until given a notch to advance three wide into the far turn to knock heads with SAUDI CROWN and ANTIQUARIAN to his inside through that bend tucking to the two path midway as SAUDI CROWN backed away and ANTIQUARIAN took to the rail, seized command nearing the quarter pole and angled five wide into upper stretch under growing threat to the outside, got collared near the three-sixteenths, dug in under a drive unable to match the top one late while keeping on to preserve the place honors on the wire. JOURNALISM four then three wide through the first turn, tucked to the two path six and a half furlongs from home just before entering the backstretch, chased two to three wide down the backstretch before heading three wide through the far turn coming under light coaxing at the seven-sixteenths pole, angled out seven wide into upper stretch under a drive, offered up a mild kick closing late for the show honors. SAUDI CROWN came out slightly after the start pinching back RATED BY MERIT, raced three wide through the first turn, vied three then two wide between foes coming under coaxing near the three-eighths pole, got shaken off inside that station and went three to four wide into upper stretch and tired. RATED BY MERIT broke out at the start bumping KNIGHTSBRIDGE, then got pinched out lightly by pressure from SAUDI CROWN, chased two to three wide from the tail of the field coming under coaxing with seven-sixteenths to run, angled in and took the inside route into upper stretch and made no impact. VIBE broke in a step at the start and bumped NYSOS, chased along the inside coming under coaxing at the half mile pole, angled out six to seven wide into upper stretch, got placed to a protective hold near the eighth pole, then got pulled up a sixteenth from home and was attended to and vetted and was subsequently transported off the course via the equine ambulance.

DOUBLE ACT went around the turns in the two then three path and failed to rally. NOBLE FACTOR saved ground at the rear, moved off the hedge late on the far turn, swung well out into upper stretch then drifted out under a left-handed crop, switched to a right-handed crop inside the furlong marker and failed to threaten. OUTRUNNER stumbled at the start then bumped with a rival, steadied briefly in tight between horses early, rounded the first turn in the three path, stalked the pace on the outside, was asked in the two to three path on the far turn and came up empty. FORTUNE SELLER angled in early, raced in the two path on the turns and failed to respond. GRIFFIN'S WHARF bumped with rivals at the start, jostled with ELNAJD nearing the first turn then was taken in hand, went around the turns in the two three path and also came up empty. RAMBLIN' WRECK stumbled at the start, raced towards the rear while in the two to three path on the turns, stumbled significantly coming to the quarter-pole and was taken up then never reached contention. FIRST CALL BOB settled on the inside, came up empty on the far turn and dropped out.
